Bryant schools to close early ahead of incoming severe weather

Bryant Public Schools announced that they will dismiss school early on Wednesday due to incoming severe weather.

BRYANT, Ark. — Bryant Public Schools announced Tuesday that they will close early on Wednesday, Apr. 2 due to incoming severe weather. 

According to school officials, Bryant schools will follow the same early dismissal schedule used for parent-teacher conferences. After school student activities and practices are canceled as well. 

The district said that they will be closing early due to the size of the district and the lack of bus routes with safe shelter options. 

If severe weather arrives earlier than predicted, students and staff will shelter in place until it is safe.
